Looking for homes to trick or treat at while giving to a good cause, there are at least two such spooky locations in town. One is at 70 Riverheights Crescent, where homeowner Gary Robertson is once again collecting donations for his Frights for Food Drive. The collection will support the Veterans Association Food Bank. Themed CarnEVIL, his haunted house will be open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. As with last year, there are 3 levels of frights for all ages. Outside in the carnival grounds attendees can see the the sights and lights, collect their candy and drop off their donations. Under the big top, individuals will see the side show complete with a human cannon, juggling clowns and a trapeze. For the bravest of thrill seekers they can enter the fun house where they will encounter creepy clowns and a fortune teller before exiting out into the side show. The second location is 4 Glenpatrick Court, where little ghosts and goblins can enjoy a fully interactive experience. Homeowner Laure-Glenn Moore, who is collecting for Cochrane Activettes Food Bank, said visitors are welcome free to walk up to Frankenstein he passes gas or brave the sidewalk to the house to hear the other sounds.
