The deadline is looming to nominate for the Cochrane Community Awards, so get those entries in.
Cochranites are asked to submit their nominations for the awards by April 10, and give recognition to community leaders, residents, businesses, schools and organizations that make Cochrane a great community.
Nominees can gain recognition in 12 different categories, including, business of the year, employer of the year, community builder of the year, ambassador of the year, citizen of the year, senior of the year, education in action, volunteer group of the year, pathfinder of the year, youth of the year and newsmaker of the year.
Residents can nominate via an online form this year, as well as the standard paper copy if they wish.

The award ceremony will be held at the Cochrane RancheHouse May 24.
