Must be Luck O’ the Irish – Seniors on the Bow (SOTB) has a lively schedule in addition to the usual events. Note some changes in times for your favourites because of Good Friday on March 25 and Easter Monday on March 28.
Drumming Circle goes this afternoon, March 17, from 2:15-3:15 p.m.
Friday, March 18, at 2 p.m. the book club meets to discuss W.O. Mitchell’s novel, The Vanishing Point. The book for April is Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel. This dystopian novel looks at a post-apocalyptic world, a disturbing, inventive and exciting story.
Monday movie matinee for March 21 at 1:15 p.m. is Remember, in which an elderly dementia patient searches for the person responsible for his family’s death at Auschwitz.

On Thursday, March 24, a self-defense workshop will happen at 1:30 p.m. The first one was very informative and enjoyable. Sign up at the reception desk.
Coffee with the mayor is set for Wednesday, March 30, at 1:30 p.m. It’s your chance to get up to date on local town happenings.
Finally, on Thursday, March 31, a managing transitions seminar is scheduled with Vinny Gibson, a life coach specializing in life and career transitions. Transitions are significant in the lives of seniors.
A few events in the upcoming months which you can prepare for now include: A drama program featuring improvisational games directed by Lyse will begin on Friday, April 22, from 1:30-2:30 p.m. This promises to be a very interesting and enjoyable program. Please sign up at the front desk.
On May 28, the annual spring fashion show will happen with clothing by Style in Motion (Nancy Woods). Clothing may be purchased following the show. Models and other helpers are needed. Please contact Nancy at 587-362-2009 if you can help.
The variety show on June 10 is coming together nicely with several performances already scheduled. Please contact Ruth at 403-932-0605 if you would like to take part. This will be a blast for both performers and audience.
