A man from Morley plead guilty to manslaughter for a 2015 death last week.

Tristan Wesley, 28, was originally charged with second-degree murder after RCMP discovered the body of Myles McLean on the side of the Trans-Canada Highway on Canada Day in 2015.

RCMP Forensic Identification Section and Major Crimes conducted the investigation and after going through Cochrane Provincial Court and the Calgary Court of Queen’s Bench, Wesley plead guilty to manslaughter last Wednesday.

Wesley is currently on bail and a sentence from the Judge is expected on Aug. 17.
