If you’re a serious ‘gearhead’ (car enthusiast), the fourth annual Cremona Show and Shine rolls into the village Sept. 12.
The day kicks off with a pancake breakfast at 9 a.m. followed by a barbecue throughout the day.
“We have all kinds of great cars and it sure brings Cremona together,” said Linda Newson, organizer of this year’s event.
She said it’s an event that everyone looks forward to every year and it’s only become bigger. Up to 200 cars are expected for the show and shine, from vintage models to tractors to newer models.
A 1973 Dodge Adventurer SE360 pick-up truck, upgraded and refurbished, is available to win for a lucky visitor.
To register your ride, organizers are asking for a food donation. Merchants and artisans are welcome to bring their products, as tables are available to rent.
As a show of gratitude, volunteers will get a free limited edition T-shirt, give-away items and a free meal during the day.
To volunteer, contact Betty Ann at 403-637-0164, Linda Newson at 403-637-2030, or Clarke at 403-875-4473.
