No injuries in Sunday's two-vehicle crash on Highway 22

Driver issued a violation ticket for failing to stop on Bergen Road southeast of Sundre

MOUNTAIN VIEW COUNTY - Two vehicles were heavily damaged but there were no injuries in a collision at Highway 22 and the Bergen Road southeast of Sundre on Sunday morning, says Didsbury RCMP Staff Sgt. Steven Browne.

One of the vehicles involved went through the stop sign, causing the crash, he said.

The driver of that vehicle was issued a violation ticket for failing to stop under the Traffic Safety Act.

As well as Didsbury RCMP officers, Cremona firefighters and EMS personnel also attended the scene.

There are no rumble strips on the east-west Bergen Road at the intersection, with stop signs stopping traffic in both directions.
