The Western Rocky View Parent Link Centre will be offering two free community presentations for Cochranites — one for parents and another for professionals.

On June 13, Dr. Kyle Pruett will lead a discussion on how men and women parent differently and how to benefit from both approaches. The presentation will explore the unique differences between the natural parenting techniques and place emphasis on using these differences to strengthen the family unit.

The parenting session will run from 7-9 p.m.

The following day, professionals are invited to spend a development morning with Kyle Pruett and Marsha Kline Pruett to learn about the important role of fathers in the development of children and families.

The workshop, which runs from 9 a.m. to noon, will present professionals with strategies and resources to engage fathers and create an environment that promotes and encourages male involvement.

To register for either presentation, call 403-851-2250.
