The popular Facebook group 'Living in Cochrane, Alberta' was noticeably absent from many residents’ timelines since July 30, leaving many to wonder: What happened?
The group is a go-to hub for local news, socializing, and crowdsourcing for many residents in Cochrane and area.
One concerned user raised the question on another community forum, asking, “Is it just me or did the main Cochrane FB group disappear?”
A response came from someone identified as a group administrator, who clarified that Living in Cochrane is currently experiencing technical issues.
“They are working on restoring the page for us,” the admin explained. “Hope to have it up again soon.”
While there’s no confirmed timeline for when the group will return, the good news is that it has not been deleted and should be restored once the issues are resolved.
