Alberta Arts, Culture and Status of Women Minister Tanya Fir (3rd from left) brought a cheque for the Cochrane Pickleball Club for $997,287 to go towards the construction of a new Pickleball facility at the SLS Centre on Wednesday. The cheque was a grant from the Community Facilities Enhancement Program, and the backers of the Greystone development - Entity One Inc. - provided matching funding, along with financing the sound reduction fencing that will surround the complex. Ground breaking is expected later this week, with a completion date this fall.Howard May
