Voting membership for the Mayor’s Youth Council has been established, and will include: the mayor or deputy mayor; a youth representative between 13-18 years of age from Cochrane’s high schools and/or middle schools; someone from the Cochrane Youth Association or Boys and Girls Club of Cochrane and Area; and finally, three public-at-large members, between 13-26.

The Mayor’s Youth Council is tasked at advising Cochrane mayor Truper McBride and council about issues and concerns regarding youth in the community.
