Hold the fort...the Zombies have returned.
Following the Cochrane Eagle’s news that the popular Zombie Survivor event had been cancelled and would no longer run in Cochrane, local event managers Paul Howarth and Emma Wirsta-Weiss decided to purchase and ‘resurrect’ the event.
“It is our goal to make the Zombie Survivor a family-friendly event with a family run,” the new owners said in a press released to the Eagle May 20.
The event will be an ‘adventure run’, which will include various events with outdoor obstacles and ‘blood pits.’
The event will occur at the Cochrane Ag Society July 25, with registration opening yesterday (May 20).
