COCHRANE— The Ride4Her found great success in raising funds for the Big Hill Haven Women's Shelter. The Satruday (June 6) fundraising bike ride raised $7800.00 for Big Hill Haven, smashing our $5,000.00 initial goal. Twenty riders took part. The event was organized by Royal LePage realtors Debbie Leah and Ken Morris.
"The Ride 4 Her was a great event in support of Big Hill Haven. Thanks to the riders, volunteers, and organizers for raising $7,800.00 for our cause. The support in raising funds and in raising awareness for domestic violence makes all the difference in Big Hill Haven's success," said Big Hill Haven fund development and public relations officer Tara McFadden.
