Following a successful launch of Roll Scooters in mid-August, the company recently expanded their service area to include other communities.
Among them are Heritage Hills, Heartland, Riviera, Riversong, Rivercrest, The Willows and Fireside.
According to a report from Roll, "Cochrane's e-scooter pilot has been one of the most successful projects in North America," and goes on to say that Cochranites have the highest parking compliance rate the company has seen so far, with 99.7 per cent compliance.
Cochranites have taken more than 5,000 trips covering over 16,000 kilometres, saving about four tons of carbon as compared to a combustion vehicle engine and there have been no reports of safety incidents, according to Roll.
