The Rotary Club of Cochrane is sponsoring free public skating sessions at Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sports Centre starting Oct. 3 until the end of March 2016.
“This is our opportunity to give back to the people of Cochrane and area who support our fundraising events,” said Glen Congram, the club’s community services director.
“By sponsoring free public skating it removes the financial barrier that may stop certain groups from being able to use the facility, while promoting an active and healthy lifestyle.”
For those without skates of their own, the SLS Centre has loaner pairs.
