A number of Cochrane businesses and town departments — 17 to be exact — will crack their doors Sept. 26-27 for the first Doors Open Cochrane event.
The event will kick off the Thursday prior (Sept. 25) with the Spray Lake Sawmills open house, then head into the feature two-day event.
The list of doors that are opening include:
- Canadian Southern Baptist Seminary (Friday only)
- Family & Community Support Services (Friday
only)
- Parent Link Centre (Friday only)
- RCMP (Friday only)
- Big Hill Leisure Pool
- Bow Valley Credit Union
- Cochrane & Area Humane Society
- Cochrane & Area Humane Society Training Facility
- Eco Centre
- Fire Services
- Ink’d Graphics
- MinkHollow Media
- Studio West Gallery & Foundry
- Town of Cochrane: Assessment, council chambers, geographic information systems (GIS; mapping), recreation, culture and arts; waste water transfer station; water treatment plant.
The event is free to attend and is intended to provide a glimpse into how participating businesses and Town of Cochrane departments operate.
