All eligible bachelors and bachelorettes are invited to foster new friendships, and possibly more, with Singles Week in Cochrane from Jan. 23 to 27.

Quirk Social Ltd., plans to host five days of varying events around the community to help local singles in the community create new and meaningful connections.

Starting on Jan. 23, Rockyview Brewing will host a trivia night at 6 p.m., where singles can test their knowledge and meet new faces.

On Jan. 24, Found Books and Shop will host an LGBTQ+ Karaoke Night starting at 7 p.m. Everyone is welcome to sing their heart out, while enjoying the atmosphere alongside a safe and inclusive space.

The Vinestone will be hosting a wine mixer on Jan. 25 at 7 p.m., where singles can have the chance to savour wine while mingling with one another.

On Jan. 26 at 7 p.m., Cochrane Lanes will give singles the chance to strike up conversations while partaking in a little competition with a fun night of bowling.

To close off the week, Canadian Brewhouse will host a Mix and Mingle on Jan. 27 at 7 p.m., where singles can create new connections in a casual setting.

Event coordinator, Kailey Mitchell, said the aim for the event is to help unite singles in enjoyable, laid-back settings which can foster connections that can blossom into friendship or love interests.

“It’s time to get off those pesky dating apps and meet people in the real world,” Mitchell said. “Let’s face it, you’re not going to leave any more single than you arrive!”

Mitchell invites any singles to come and participate in singles week. For more information follow @quirksocial on social media for any updates, announcements, and exclusive content.
