Environment Canada expects a smoky day in Cochrane.
The weather forecast for Sept. 9 calls for "widespread smoke" and a high temperature of 25 C.
Smoke is expected throughout the day and it will continue this evening.
No advisories are currently in place. The Air Quality Health Index (AQHI) is expected to be 4, or moderate risk, during the day and overnight in Cochrane and the Calgary region.
