The Cochrane & Area Humane Society (CAHS) is hosting one of the shelter’s biggest fundraisers this weekend, Mutt Strut at Mitford Park.
On June 4, registration for the mutt strut opens at 9 a.m. with the walk starting at 10 a.m., rain or shine. The market place will open at 10:30 a.m. and the event is family friendly with kids’ activities also starting at the same time.
The fundraising goal is $35,000 with monies from the event going toward the medical and hospital costs.
CAHS staff are encouraging guests to brings their families and furry friends, cats welcome too, as long as they are leashed and get along with dogs.
