It’s the most giving time of year and Cochrane & Area Events Society (CAES) is back with the annual Stuff-a-Bus campaign.
CAES will present the annual Stuff-A-Bus celebration on Saturday, Dec. 9 from 10 am to 3 pm in support of the Cochrane Activettes’ Share Your Christmas Hamper Program.
Held at the Canadian Tire store in Cochrane, families will once again see the automotive waiting room of Canadian Tire transformed into Santa’s territory. CAES has invited Found Bookstore to help decorate the set for this year’s photo shoot - the theme is “Storytime with Santa.” As a thank you for donations, CAES will be offering free photos with Santa. CAES asks people to sign up on their website to secure a photo spot.
Southland and Colt buses will be on site to hold all the donations of new, unwrapped gifts for children and teenagers, non-perishable food items, gift cards, cash.
As with previous years, CAES volunteers will attend the Calgary Hitman’s Teddy Bear Toss on Dec. 3 and bring some of those stuffies home to help bring the Christmas cheer.
