You don't need superpowers to be a superhero. If you are looking for a post-Halloween bash to be part of this weekend head down to The Venue Bar and Grill on Saturday night. The theme is "Be Your Own Superhero" and is in support of the strong-hearted, lovely soul, Kim Petitclerc.
Petitclerc fought a strong fight against cancer. She lost the fight at just 28-years-old, not because she wasn't strong enough, but because there were too many villains. Show your support for her husband Devin and prove Deadpool right: "You don't need to be a superhero to get the girl. The right girl will bring out the hero in you".
Tickets are $35 on Eventbrite and include one drink, a burger bar, silent auction and games. The band Curious George will also be performing. The event gets BAM, ZAP, KAPOW-ing at 6 p.m. and all superheros are welcome.
