Town begins flood recovery projects

Crews will be onsite beginning early this month to mark and remove trees in the area do the confluence of the Bow River and Jumping Pound Creek

The Town of Cochrane is advancing flood recovery and resiliency projects in the vicinity of the confluence of the Bow River and Jumping Pound Creek.

This will require removing trees for construction in the area to support project advancement said the Town in a Facebook post.

Some trees at risk for blow-down due to age will also be considered for removal and crews will be onsite throughout early April to mark and remove the trees.
