Town of Cochrane reports 43 active cases of COVID-19

As of Tuesday (Jan. 4), there are a reported 43 active cases of COVID-19 in the Town of Cochrane.

COCHRANE— The COVID-19 positivity rate in the province remains high, currently sitting at 8.2 per cent.

As of Tuesday (Jan. 4), there are a reported 43 active cases of COVID-19 in the Town of Cochrane. To date 260 cases have been identified— 216 people have recovered and one person has died.

Over the last 24 hours, 843 new cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Alberta after the completion of more than 10,300 tests.

There are currently 919 people hospitalized due to COVID-19, including 140 in intensive care units.

There have been 26 new COVID-related deaths reported in the last 24 hours. To date, there have been 1,168 COVID-related deaths in Alberta.

The province is reporting 13,411 active cases of the virus as of Jan. 4.
