The annual Cochrane Trade Show is coming back to town this Saturday and Sunday.
As the longest running annual event in Cochrane, the trade show will be host to more than 140 booths with small businesses, volunteer groups, and home-based business people available to chat.
The Chamber of Commerce promotes the Trade Show as having something available for everyone, with daily prizes, samples, and a new ‘Made in Cochrane’ section with 17 vendors showcasing products made in town.
Mayor and council, along with the various departments from the town will also be available to answer questions throughout the weekend.
Organizers are also encouraging visitors to bring their little ones, as the family friendly event will also include painting, a ventriloquist clown, and a petting zoo on Sunday.
Parking is available at Spray Lake Sawmills Family Centre or free shuttle buses will run approximately every half an hour from the old Canadian Tire site on Fifth Ave and Griffin Road starting at 11 a.m. The last bus will leave at 4 p.m. and the last return from the Trade Show location will be at 5 p.m. on Saturday and 4:30 p.m. on Sunday.
The Trade Show runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m on April 30 and May 1 at the Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sports Centre, located at 800 Griffin Road E. Admission is $2 for those 13 years and older, and youth 12 and under get in for free.
