While rain with the possibility of thunderstorms are expected to continue throughout day, the weather is looking much sunnier for the weekend in the Calgary region, including Cochrane.
According to Environment Canada, Friday will see a mix of sun and cloud with a high of 16 C and low of zero overnight. Saturday will be about the same with a high of 17 C and a low of 6 C.
However, the good news is the sun wattage will be turned up a bit on Sunday with a mix of sun and cloud, and a daytime high of 19 C
But before that, the Cochrane region will have to get through today with cloudy conditions and showers expected to continue until around midnight. There is also a risk of frost over night-- so cover those tomato plants!
