Ripping flesh, racing through the countryside with a thirst for blood, zombies are a sci-fi force to be reckoned with.
Entering its second annual run, the guys and gals from the Zombie Survivor race are kicking things off in style with a chance for any zombie fans who comment on their Facebook page (search Zombie Survivor) between now and Sunday to win a trip for two to the Calgary Comic Expo.
If the free trip wasn’t enough, Zombie Survivor will also be decking you out in a full bloodlust, flesh-tearing, dawn of the dead zombie makeover.
“We’ll randomly be selecting one lucky winner from everyone who has commented on a post on this page, said organizer Kyle Fitzgerald on their Facebook page.
Fitzgerald and his friends saw success in their first annual Zombie Survivor run at the Cochrane Agricultural Society and it will be returning to Cochrane July 26.
The passes will be for April 26, and you will have the chance to join a full zombie horde, showing off your best dead-man impression.
The Calgary Comic Expo features a number of celebrities from films such as Aliens and even cast members of FX show Sons of Anarchy.
Tickets for Saturday, April 26 are already sold out, so this is one of the last chances for enthusiasts to get their hands on a pair of tickets. For more information on the run, visit zombiesurvivor.ca.
