Stoney Nakoda community members consider tapping into First Nations Drinking Water Settlement

According to Stoney Health Services, Stoney Nakoda First Nation was under a drinking water advisory from Nov. 27, 2001 to Aug. 2, 2005 and again from Oct. 20, 2006 to March 21, 2014. At least 200 community members have collected claims forms to consider seeking reparations since the First Nations Drinking Water Settlement opened to claimants in March.
