Town of Cochrane and Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities officially opened across SLS Centre.

The Rockyview Rage hosted the Strathmore Venom at home for the second-to-last game of the 2025 RMLL regular season. The Rage, who were 5-9 on the season, lost to the Venom (4-10) in a lopsided affair.

The Cochrane High School Track and Field team has won the Rocky View Schools Division Championship every year since 1984.

The Cochrane Piranhas swim club dedicated their home swim meet, now called the Cam Jaeger Memorial swim meet, to the beloved former Piranha.

The Cochrane Piranhas Swim Club hosted its home meet, the Cam Jaeger memorial Swim Meet, at the SLS Centre on July 5. Piranhas swimmers competed against teams from Calgary, Okotoks, Didsbury, and High River in a grueling day-long competition.

On June 28, at Ranger Field in Cochrane, the Cochrane Wolves FC had five of its youth teams play games against teams from Calgary.

Seven members of the local lifesaving team have been selected for Team Canada at the upcoming 2025 Commonwealth Lifesaving Championships.
