More than 100 teams from across Alberta took part in the Alberta Treaty Hockey Championships March 27-31 in Cochrane, Cremona, Tsuu T’ina and a rink in northwest Calgary.

The Cochrane High School Cobras varsity boys basketball team came up a couple of shots short of taking it all at the Alberta Schools Athletic Association 3A provincial hoops championship in Spruce Grove over the weekend.

You get the feeling, after talking with Cochrane High School Cobras varsity girls basketball coach Randy Peron, that he follows every shot, every pass, every block and every bounce of the ball during his team’s games and practices.
