Cochrane BMX will be hosting an open track from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on June 3 for BMX Day in Alberta. BMX Day in Alberta is a one-day event, celebrating the beloved sport of BMX around the Province. Each of Alberta Bicycle Association's (ABA) affiliated BMX tracks will open their doors to anyone interested in trying out BMX for the first time. From ages four and up, this event is open to anyone wanting to try cycling's newest Olympic discipline. There are a few loaner bikes and helmets available, but those who plan on attending are encouraged to come in pants, long sleeve shirt and some gloves to give the track a whirl. There will also be plenty of members on hand to answer all the questions you may have and are ready to help you register if that's what you'd like to do. Those interested can visit www.cochranebmx.com for more information.
