What better time to start the Dogpound Rodeo?

Held the third Wednesday of July since 1905, the 110th annual Dogpound Rodeo goes July 15 in Dogpound.

Started as a community picnic, Dogpound Rodeo has evolved into a full-fledged stop on the Foothills Cowboys Association’s rodeo schedule and this year features competitors from as far away as New Zealand, Australia and England.

Two-hundred-thirty competitors will compete in seven rodeo events ranging from bull riding to team roping at Dogpound Rodeo which begins noon, July 15, at the Dogpound Rodeo grounds in Dogpound.
