Trinity Taekwon-Do of Cochrane members brought home 20 medals from the Annual Calgary Regional Taekwon-Do Tournament Feb. 22 in Calgary.
The local club sent 24 competitors to the tournament featuring 230 competitors from around the Calgary region. The tournament raised $8,000 for the Calgary Police Foundation’s anti-bullying and youth-at-risk initiatives.
Lil kicker participation medals went to Olivia Lentz, Van Hill and Andrea Raab. Griffin Verheyde won bronze in sparring. Ryan Gourley took gold in patterns and silver in sparring. Tim Withrich took gold in sparring and silver in patterns. Max Cinnamon won gold in sparring and patterns. Cameron Gee won gold in sparring. Zoe Cinnamon bronze and Devon Wieliczko silver in sparring. Sidney Jenkins took silver in sparring and patterns. Zach Hayter took bronze in patterns and sparring.
