After a mediocre October, in which the Cochrane Generals carded one win in six games, the team has steamrolled into November with two straight victories. The Generals downed the Banff Bears 9-4 Nov. 3 in Banff after edging High River Flyers 7-6 Nov.

Shouldice Park turned into a venomous snake pit as the Cochrane High School (CHS) Cobras and the Rundle College Cobras went at it in Alberta South Central Zone Tier 3 high school playoff football play Nov. 3.

The three-peat is complete. The Springbank Community High School Phoenix shut out the George McDougall Mustangs 27-0 to win their third consecutive Rocky View Sports Association (RVSA) Tier 2 football title Oct. 26.

The Bow Valley High School (BVHS) Bobcats senior boys volleyball team is in Airdrie tonight for a Rocky View Sports Association division semifinal against George McDougall Mustangs. The Bobcats advanced to the Oct.
