Super Seniors Spiel. One hundred forty-eight seniors, aged 51 to 88, participated in the 13 th Annual Super Seniors Squares Bonspiel held in Cochrane’s SLS Centre between Nov. 22 and 26.

“I can honestly say after all these years of my coaching experience, this has probably been the grittiest of our (Senior Girls) teams,” said Seiben.

The Senior girls team placed second while both Junior girls and Junior boys won their respective league banners.

Starting in 2024, Airdrie will be the home of the Rockyview Silvertips, a Junior B Tier One Lacrosse team that has played out of Cochrane in the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League (RMLL) since 2018. The team announced the move on social media on Oct. 31.
