HARTMAN, Sandra Lee
July 27, 1944 - May 11, 2025
Sandra “Sandi” Hartman (nee Janigo) of Cochrane, AB, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at the age of 80 years.
Sandi was born in Nordegg, AB, on July 27, 1944. She married William John Hartman on June 10, 1967. They lived and raised their family in the Dalhousie neighbourhood and watched the city grow before building their dream home, the Lookout Ranche, outside Cochrane, AB.
Reading, collecting antiques, and spending time at the lake were all important to Sandi, but her passion was quilting. She continued making beautiful quilts until the day she said goodbye.
Besides her loving husband, Sandi is survived by her son, Andrew Hartman; her daughters, Stacey (Paul Ferguson) Hartman of Calgary, AB, and Jillian “Jill” (Paul Kennett) Hartman of Calgary, AB; and her beloved grandchild, Saffron Ferguson of Calgary, AB.
She was predeceased by her parents, Olga and John Janigo, and her sister, Lorraine Morris.
Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Cochrane, 369 Railway Street, Cochrane, AB), on Friday, May 30, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home.
