Peter J. Remesoff
Peter J. Remesoff was born January 20th, 1936, in Kamsack, Saskatchewan. He passed in his Cochrane home on March 15th, 2023.
Peter developed his customs growing up on a farm in Saskatchewan and working in Local Government in Shaunavon, SK. He took them with him to his small-town life in Canmore where he worked to pension at Canada Cement (Lafarge), and later Cochrane. He kept his hands busy by growing gardens and caring for plants, tinkering away at framing, crafts, repairs, and preparing and preserving food. He was a kind and soft-spoken man, beloved by his family, friends, and community members.
He is predeceased by his wife Elaine, and his daughter Lisa. He is mourned by his stepsons; Douglas and David, his grandchildren; Danielle, Shayne, Frankie and Ryley; and his other family members dispersed throughout Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
The family invites friends, neighbours, and relatives to join them for a light lunch at the house 76 River Heights View, Cochrane between 11:30am and 2pm on Wednesday May 10th.
