Seniors open house – Banff-Cochrane MLA Ron Casey is hosting a gathering for seniors Friday, March 21 from 2-4 p.m. Call Casey’s office at 403-609-4512 to reserve a seat. Cowboy poet Doris Daley will also entertain.
One-on-one computer training classes begin March 21 and runs Mondays and Wednesdays through to April 14 from 10:30 p.m. to noon. To register for the class, contact Shannon at 403-932-2959. Here is your chance to upgrade those computer skills.
Monday matinees will run at 1:30 p.m., and the March 24 feature will be Last Vegas, the tale of three guys who throw a bachelor party for their last single friend. Guaranteed to make you laugh. March 31 features American Hustle, which received an Oscar this year.

Book club meets Friday, March 28 at 2 p.m. to discuss Lives of Girls and Women by Alice Monroe, who received the Nobel Prize for Literature. For April, the book is The Universe Versus Alex Wood by Gavin Extence.
Note: There will be no Zumba gold classes March 26 or 28.
VOLUNTEERS – Join the ranks of people helping to keep the SOTB Centre running smoothly. Positions are available for reception, as drop-in hosts and to assist with events. This is a good way to meet old and new friends. If you are interested, call SOTB reception at 403-932-6002.
Seniors Drop-In Centre is open from 9 a.m. to noon and 1-4 p.m., Monday to Friday except for holidays.
