Letter to the Editor: Homegrown housing key to Canadian sovereignty

Aluminum, steel, lumber, copper, oil and all products can be made in Canada.

The Canadian government says there is a housing shortage and costs to buy a home is skyrocketing.  Building a home to save energy and heat loss is a must. Canada has thousands of trees to supply lumber.

The writer’s personal home (3,600 sq. ft) is environmentally green and was built for under $150,000.  It is a stucco house with no basement or 2nd floor (wasted space) triple R80 insulation, triple pane glass and powered by electricity only. Cool in summer and warm in winter

Canada has an abundance of natural resources. Aluminum, steel, lumber, copper, oil and all products can be made in Canada.

Canadians, a proud people, fought alongside Americans in many wars; annexing our country will never happen.
