At approximately 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, Cochrane RCMP attempted a stop with a suspicious truck near Morley. The truck fled police and later collided head-on with a nearby Alberta Sheriff vehicle.
The Alberta Sheriff did not sustain serious injuries. The suspect truck, with three occupants inside, was pursed and stopped. All suspects were uninjured and subsequently arrested. The truck was identified as having been stolen the day before from Calgary.
A collision analyst is examining the scene and charges are pending against the three suspects.
