Okotoks got more rain than anywhere else in Canada last month.
July saw 218.2 mm of rain recorded at an Okotoks weather station, according to a monthly climate summary from Environment and Climate Change Canada.
Data for the month says rainfall was measured on 20 days during the month.
The rainiest day was July 21, when 46.4 mm of rain was recorded, and the longest streak of measured precipitation was 10 days in a row.
A Government of Canada website says normal rainfall in July in Okotoks is about 54 mm, but it uses data from 1981 to 2010.
Springbank Airport, northwest of Calgary, was the second rainiest spot in the country last month.
It was the only other place in Alberta to see more than 200 mm of precipitation in July, recording a monthly total of 212.2 mm of rain.
Environment Canada generates monthly climate summaries on the fifth day of each month for the previous month.
Data has undergone basic quality checking and is subject to change, Environment Canada said.
