Rocky View County hosted an open house on the afternoon of July 20, offering a chance for RVC residents to learn about the many services the County has to offer.

While the majority of RVC residents are happy with their quality of life in the county, according to a recent survey, the data will also help the municipality address some key issues in need of improvement.

Rocky View County will be opening the doors of its headquarters to the public on July 20 from 9 a.m. till noon, inviting all residents of the county to mingle with elected officials, various staff departments, and to enjoy a free pancake breakfast.

The Bragg Creek Days parade has been a hamlet hallmark since 1967, and will return to the community July 16.

“We’ve been waiting on it for a while and we’re really excited to use it, because for a few years there we didn’t have a classroom,” she said. “Now, not only do we have a classroom, but we have this incredible year-round building to use.”

Banded Peak School and Bragg Creek Wild collaborated in a local art walk project to promote protecting the environment in a positive way. Artwork will be on display in the community until Bragg Creek Days on July 16.

This year, the pilots are back and ready to make their planes dance in the air on July 23 and 24, delivering the same performance each day.
