MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Abortion was a key issue in two suburban Minnesota congressional races as Democratic U.S. Rep. Angie Craig won a fourth term and an OB-GYN doctor won an open seat to keep it in Democratic hands as well.

Democratic U.S. Rep. Jahana Hayes has won a fourth term representing Connecticut, dashing the hopes of Republicans who saw an opportunity to flip a seat in a state where they haven’t won a congressional election in 18 years.

Democratic Rep. Betty McCollum won reelection to a U.S. House seat representing Minnesota on Wednesday. McCollum has already served 12 two-year terms and is the dean of the state's congressional delegation.

Democrat Herb Conaway won election to a U.S. House seat representing New Jersey on Wednesday. Conaway defeated Republican Rajesh Mohan and a handful of other candidates in the 3rd District, which was open because Democratic Rep.

Former President Donald Trump won Pennsylvania on Wednesday, defeating Democrat Kamala Harris in the critical battleground state. Both candidates campaigned vigorously in the state, visiting it more often than any other.

Republican Mark Amodei won reelection to a U.S. House seat representing Nevada on Wednesday.

PROVO, Utah (AP) — U.S. Rep. John Curtis will succeed Mitt Romney in the U.S. Senate after the Republican breezed to victory over his Democratic opponent in deeply red Utah.

Democratic Rep. Henry Cuellar won reelection to a U.S. House seat representing Texas on Wednesday. Cuellar, a 10-term representative, is the top Democrat on the House appropriations subcommittee in charge of homeland security.

Democratic Rep. Gabe Vasquez won reelection to a U.S. House seat representing New Mexico on Wednesday. Vasquez faced a rematch against Republican Yvette Herrell, who previously represented the district for a single term.
