Cochrane town council gave Bylaw 05/2016 – Amendment to Land Use Bylaw 01/2004 – Heartland Redesignation its first reading at the meeting on Jan. 25.

Cochrane town councilor Morgan Nagel will be leaving his position at the Manning Centre at the beginning of March. This decision comes as he’s decided to refocus his political aspirations.

On Jan. 25, Cochrane town council discussed proposed Bylaw 02/2016 – Land Use Bylaw Amendment – Residential Lot Access. The bylaw related to residential rear lanes and front lot access.
