The public engagement results from the first phase of Envision Cochrane 2050 were presented to Town council Nov. 6.

At the Nov. 6 Council meeting, Town of Cochrane Administration presented Council with the 2024-2026 draft budget.

The Cochrane RCMP have turned a case involving human remains found Bow Valley Provincial Park over to the RCMP’s Major Crimes Unit. On Nov.

“We ask citizens of Cochrane to please submit names of nominated families,” Kroffat said. “One thing that’s critical, the nominated family must agree they will come down and pick up the tree."

 “Multiple individuals who were in attendance at St. Timothy Junior/Senior High School when the incident occurred were questioned, resulting in a far different version of events than the one portrayed by the mother, who was not present,” the school division stated. “Our truth was based upon multiple witnesses, not a single source. Two of three students involved in this incident were disciplined."
