As residents in the Banff-Airdrie riding ready for this fall's federal election, a new brand of conservatism will be vying for their votes – securing local representation with Cochranite Nadine Wellwood.

A $5-million donation from Pembina Pipeline will help the Breakfast Club of Canada continue to feed hundreds of students in Cochrane and Area and thousands more across the country.

The Venue Bar and Grill will be hosting a pair of talented bands in the next few weeks.

Gas prices in Cochrane are still sitting at 124.9 on Wednesday according to GasBuddy.com. If you're heading into Calgary, expect to see prices sitting at 116.9 on the edge of the city. Some stations further into Calgary are offering gas for 111.
