It looks like it will be a pretty decent night for trick-or-treaters – at least weather-wise.
Environment Canada’s forecast for the Cochrane area calls for a mix of sun and clouds, but will be slightly chilly with a high of 1 C today.
That daytime high is expected around 3 p.m., after which the temperature starts to drop. It’s expected to be 0 C at 5 p.m. when trick-or-treaters start making their way from door-to-door.
After the sun sets at 6:11 p.m., temperatures will drop further, expected to hit – 5 C by 8 p.m. and –7 C by 9 p.m. The sky should be clear.
Temperatures are expected to plunge overnight to -10 C through the night and into the morning. The high for Friday will be 6 C.
The weather on Saturday is looking sunny but with only a daytime high of 0 C expected.
