The second offering of the season for the Chinook Film Group will be coming to the Cochrane Movie House Oct. 16.
The appreciation group will be presenting Blue Jasmine, a film written and directed by Woody Allen. The cast features the likes of Golden Globe winner Alec Baldwin, Academy Award winner Cate Blanchett, and Sally Hawkins.
The movie tells the tale of Jasmine (Blanchett), a New York socialite who falls on hard times and temporarily moves into the cramped San Francisco apartment of her sister when her husband (played by Baldwin) is imprisoned.
The film darts back and forth between past and present as Jasmine attempts to make a new start for herself.
Tickets for Blue Jasmine can be purchased for $10 at Java Jamboree and Video Experts. The show starts at 7 p.m.
