Cochrane Business Network returning after a two year hiatus

Royal LePage Integrity realtor Jim Messner has announced he will bring back the Cochrane Business Network after a two year absence.

Royal LePage Integrity realtor Jim Messner has announced he will bring back the Cochrane Business Network after a two year absence.

Messner started the Business Network in 2005, and said in a release that after seven years it was running strong and expanding into Calgary with several more chapters.

After the network shut down in 2013, and failed attempts in early 2015 to find someone in Cochrane to bring it back, Messner, along with his new manager Shelly Kramer, are shaking the dust off to bring the Business Network back themselves.

The network was developed for local businesses to have a place to go for networking, meeting like-minded business people and attend workshops with guest speakers on various business and marketing topics.

Messner said he feels that with Cochrane’s continued growth that there would be even a greater need for the Business Network.

“We are all stronger together than we are apart,” Messner said in the release. “We want to be able to mentor and help start-up business owners as well as with executives and sales people so that they can keep building on their success.”

The Business Network will launch June 26 from 4-6 p.m. at Cochrane’s Boston Pizza; email [email protected] to register.
