Earlier this week, Cochrane Firefighters welcomed several new members to its swift water rescue program. In a post online, Cochrane Firefighters posted photographs from its swift water rescue training. Some members were learning the techniques of swift water resuce for the first time, while others were brushing up on their skills.
"With more traffic on the Bow River, we’d like to remind everyone to be safe while out on the water," the Cochrane Firefighters post read.
