DISPENSING MASKS TO FIGHT COVID-19
The Alberta Government is once again distributing masks to the general public to help limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The free masks will be available at A&W, McDonald’s and Tim Hortons restaurants while supplies last. The government has also been distributing masks to First Nations, churches and religious institutions, transit services, women’s and homeless shelters and other locations. Restaurants will be handing out eight masks per person, with the intention that Albertans pick-up masks for family and friends to reduce traffic at distribution locations. While mask-use is not mandatory at this time, masks are being encouraged by Alberta Health Services in areas where social distancing is not possible.

On Saturday (July 18), Route 22 Artist Collective will be holding a celebration to recognize the new display, complete with COVID-conscious refreshments. The artist-members of the collective will also be on hand to provide the stories of the works of stained glass, sculptures, woodturning, photography, and paintings.
