UPDATE: Madison Courtney has been found

Cochrane RCMP are seeking public assistance in locating missing person Madison "Maddi" Courtney, 16.

BRAGG CREEK— 16-year-old Madison Courtney has been safely located by Cochrane RCMP. 

Cochrane RCMP is asking the public for help in locating a teen who is missing from the Bragg Creek area.

On Monday (May 11) Madison "Maddi" Courtney, 16, was visiting relatives in Bragg Creek. The teen is from British Columbia.

RCMP said Madison left the care of her relatives and was visibly upset at the time. Police said they are concerned for her well being and would like to speak to her.

Madison is described as caucasian, 5'2" tall, weighing 130 pounds with red-dyed hair and a pierced nose. She was wearing ripped jeans, brown boots and an unknown top the last time she was seen.

Anyone who has information on the whereabouts of Madison is asked to contact the Cochrane RCMP at 403-851-8000.
